At least 35 aftershocks hit Nepal till today and some of them were also felt in India after a devastating earthquake hit the Himalayan country, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Yesterday, a 7.9 magnitude earthquake with the epicentre near Kathmandu hit Nepal and most of the northern and northeastern Indian cities, including Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Jaipur around 11.41 am.
According to the IMD website, 23 aftershocks were felt yesterday, and 12 more were felt today.
The latest tremor of 5 magnitude was recorded at 12.56 pm today.
Yesterday an aftershock of 6.6 magnitude was felt at 12.15 pm, while another quake of 6.7 magnitude was felt today at 12.39 pm.
