Istanbul, Turkey : At least one person was killed today and three others wounded when two mortar shells landed near a school in the Turkish town of Kilis on the Syrian border, Turkish television reports said.
NTV television quoted the mayor of Kilis, Hasan Kara, as saying all schools in the town had been evacuated and the shelling had most likely come from Syria.
