Beijing:
About 80 percent of non-disposable blankets in a Chinese airline were found to be re-used without any disinfection by a cleaning company, a media report said.
A source at Yingtailong Airline Commodity told the Beijing Times that most of the blankets they got were not washed before being sent back.
The factory had just three washing machines that were functional, reported the China Daily.
Workers would check the blankets and those with visible stains were washed even though the airline had a contract for cleaning all of them.
"There're only three machines, how could we wash them all?" a worker at the factory was quoted as saying.
The airline has launched a probe into the cleaning company's work.
