Al Qaeda suspects killed an aide to Yemen's defence minister and four soldiers in an attack today in the country's south, scene of a major offensive against the jihadists, the army said.
The adviser, who is also an army officer, was killed along with the soldiers in Azzan, a city in Shabwa province which the army retook from militants five days ago, a military official said.
