An American reported missing in Brussels following the terrorist attacks that struck the city's airport and metro this week is among the dead, his employer said.
Justin Shults, who was reported missing along with his wife, Stephanie, after they dropped her mother off at the Brussels airport, was killed in the blasts there, his employer Clarcor, a filtration company, said in a statement online.
"We have learned today that Justin Shults died in the bombing at Brussels Airport," it said, adding that it did "not have news yet about Justin's wife, Stephanie."
A Twitter account that US media said belongs to Shults' brother, Levi Sutton, also confirmed the death.
"We found out today that cowards took my brother's life just weeks after his 30th birthday," said the message posted Saturday.
"I was blessed to have Justin as a big brother. He was smart and kind and generous," it said.
The couple had lived in Brussels since 2014, Clarcor said. Both were accountants, according to NBC News.
