'Anonymous' raises slogans against internet censorship: "Raise your voice, save your voice"


'Anonymous' protests at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi



Global hacking movement Anonymous has called for protesters to take to the streets in 16 cities across India today over what it considers growing government censorship of the Internet.
As per a Facebook page of the protesters, "it is a campaign against Web censorship in India". It alleged that the Indian government was "attempting to control Internet space through unlawful means".
In Delhi, protesters are expected to gather at Jantar Mantar
The protests in India are being spearheaded by 'Save Your Voice', reports PTI. The protests are likely to begin around 4 pm at various historic monuments across 16 cities.
