'Anonymous' to protest in 16 cities across India today against Internet 'censorship'
Global hacking movement Anonymous has called for protesters to take to the streets in 16 cities across India today over what it considers growing government censorship of the Internet.
As per a Facebook page of the protesters, "it is a campaign against Web censorship in India". It alleged that the Indian government was "attempting to control Internet space through unlawful means".

The protests in India are being spearheaded by 'Save Your Voice', reports PTI. The protests are likely to begin around 4 pm at various historic monuments across 16 cities.
A worldwide group of web hacking activists, working under the banner of 'Anonymous', will hold protests across major cities in India toady against what they claim as 'growing censorship of Internet'.
