Sargodha:
The five young American Muslims who were arrested in Pakistan met with representatives of an Al-Qaida-linked group, according to reports.
These men had asked for training but were turned down because they lacked references from trusted militants.
A top Pakistani police official on grounds of anonymity said the men wanted to fight jihad, in northwestern Pakistan and against American troops in Afghanistan. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the government has "had access" to the five American Muslims arrested in Pakistan.
