Kamala Harris' grand-nieces were seen holding up an "auntie for president" sign at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago today.
Harris officially accepted the Democratic presidential nomination in Chicago pledging to be a "president for all Americans" with a new way forward if she beats former US President Donald Trump in the elections this November.
Among the ecstatic crowd who supported her presidential bid, were also her two grand nieces Amara and Leela Ajagu, aged eight, and six, respectively. Amara and Leela are the granddaughters of the Democrat Presidential nominee's younger sister, Maya Harris.
Amara and Leela's mom, and Kamala Harris' niece Meena Harris is a lawyer, who had previously been proud and vocal for growing up in an all-women's family.
Harris' grand nieces were found holding up handmade placards to support their great aunt at the DNC, where they rallied behind Kamala Harris at the star-studded convention night.

They were also found supporting their grandaunt previously at Harris' Presidential Inauguration in 2021, where they had dressed up like her.
For the final night of the DNC, Amara and Leela Ajagu had also joined actor Kerry Washington onstage in Chicago to help teach viewers how to pronounce their "auntie's" name.
Harris' godson, niece and nephew - Alexander Hudlin, Arden Emhoff and Jasper Emhoff were also there, supporting their "auntie" at the convention. Arden said, "She'll be a president who cares for all of us."
Having formally accepted her presidential bid at the convention night, Harris addressed the crowd with a speech that included her stance on national security, immigration policies and Trump's influence on the country's Supreme Court. If she wins, Harris would be the first black woman President of the US.
