Kamala Harris' grand-nieces were seen holding up an "auntie for president" sign at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago today.

Harris officially accepted the Democratic presidential nomination in Chicago pledging to be a "president for all Americans" with a new way forward if she beats former US President Donald Trump in the elections this November.

Among the ecstatic crowd who supported her presidential bid, were also her two grand nieces Amara and Leela Ajagu, aged eight, and six, respectively. Amara and Leela are the granddaughters of the Democrat Presidential nominee's younger sister, Maya Harris.

Amara and Leela's mom, and Kamala Harris' niece Meena Harris is a lawyer, who had previously been proud and vocal for growing up in an all-women's family.
