A woman in Baltimore is being hailed as the "Mother of the year" after a video showed her beating her teenage son for participating in the riots that erupted in Baltimore, USA, after the funeral of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old who died in police custody.
On camera, the woman - who seemed to have spotted her son dressed in black and wearing a ski mask preparing to join the riots - is seen screaming, "Get over here, now."
She then beats the young man up, and finally takes him away from the scene.
The encounter, captured by WMAR, an ABC-affiliated television station located in Baltimore, is viral now with more than 10,000 views.

Baltimore erupted in violence on Monday as hundreds of rioters looted stores, burned buildings and injured police officers following Freddie Gray's funeral.
Gray died as a result of severe injuries suffered in police custody. Violence in the city has forced Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to implement a week-long curfew on Tuesday night.
