Washington: Presidential front runner Hillary Clinton has said that if she wins the November elections, the role of her husband Bill Clinton would start at the "kitchen table" and she would ask for his ideas as a former president of the US.

"It'll start at the kitchen table, we'll see how it goes from there," the 68-year-old said at the Democratic Party's presidential debate in Iowa when asked what the role of her husband Bill, 69, would be if she is voted to power.

"I'm going to have the very best advisers that I can possibly have," she said.

"When it comes to the economy and what was accomplished under my husband's leadership and the '90s -- especially when it came to raising incomes for everybody and lifting more people out of poverty than at any time in recent history -- you bet, 'm going to ask for his ideas, I'm going ask for his advice," Ms Clinton said.

"I'm going use him as a goodwill emissary to go around the country to find the best ideas we've got, because I do believe, as he said, everything that's wrong with America has been solved somewhere in America," said the Democratic Party presidential front runner.

"We just have to do more of it, and we have to reach out, especially into poor communities and communities of color, to give more people their own chance to get ahead," Ms Clinton said.

Her closest rival Bernie Sanders alleged that if elected, Clinton's administration would be stacked with Wall Street appointees, which is not going to accomplish very much.
