Beijing:
Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson urged North Korea not to carry out any nuclear tests or use ballistic missiles, he said on Thursday as he returned from a private visit to the isolated country.
"We strongly urged the North Koreans to proceed with a moratorium on ballistic missiles and possible nuclear test," Richardson, also an ex-US ambassador to the United Nations, told reporters on arrival in Beijing.
