Beirut:
At least two people were killed in a bomb attack at checkpoint in Lebanon on the highway that runs from Beirut to Damascus, official media said.
"Two people were killed and several others wounded in the Dahr al-Baydar bomb attack" east of Beirut, said the official National News Agency.
