The pilot and co-pilot of a UPS cargo jet that crashed today near Birmingham airport in US were killed, said a fire official.
Birmingham Fire Chief Ivor Brooks says both were pronounced dead at the scene, in a field just outside the city's airport early today.
The Airbus A300 plane crashed on its approach to the airport. The plane was en route from Louisville, Kentucky.
