London: A woman in Britain has been fined 5,500 pounds ($8,700) for turning a nuisance for neighbours with her 17 pet dogs.
Karen Sanderson, a doctor by profession, has been fined for letting her 17 pets make her neighbours' lives hell. But she has been allowed to keep the animals. She was penalised in her absence for failing to comply with a noise abatement notice at her bungalow home in Hampshire's Andover town, Daily Express reported.
Sanderson has three weeks to appeal before Test Valley Borough Council in Hampshire considers further steps.
"Some further action will have to be taken. It has been going on for three years," said one of the neighbours Tim Flynne.
