London:
A 49-year-old British psychic has been jailed for two years after he tricked women into stripping naked "to get in touch with the spirit world".
Karl Lang "brainwashed" two victims, aged 26 and 27, using an "almost hypnotic ability", the Daily Express reported Saturday.
He encouraged one woman to "perform like a porn star" and told the other victim that he was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, the Cardiff crown court heard.
The man from Newport, South Wales, said he has been speaking to the dead since he was four. He has also spoken at hundreds of spiritual churches around Britain.
He was found guilty last month of 12 counts of causing women to engage in sexual activity without consent between 2005 and 2009.
While the prosecutor said the accused brainwashed the women, the judge told Lang: "This was designed to be more and more gross and it could only have been for your own sexual gratification."
The man was also banned from practising as a medium, clairvoyant, spiritualist or healer for 10 years.
