Beijing:
A bus carrying Taiwanese tourists has plunged into a river in southeast China, killing two and leaving five others missing.
Zhangzhou city government says in a statement on its website that another 11 people were injured Friday in Fujian province.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Saturday that hundreds of soldiers, police and rescuers and scores of boats were searching for the missing. It says the bus was carrying 26 people.
Nineteen people have been rescued. Two Taiwanese who were pulled out from the river died after treatment.
Xinhua says police are questioning the driver.
