Auburn, Massachusetts:
A bus has crashed into a house in a central Massachusetts town, injuring the driver and six others.
Auburn fire Captain Eric Otterson says the driver of the Worcester Regional Transit Authority bus was trapped for more than an hour Monday afternoon and has been hospitalized with serious injuries.
Otterson says three children and an adult were in the house at the time. He says they escaped with minor cuts and scrapes even though the house was knocked off its foundation by 7 to 10 feet. He says two bus passengers were injured.
Chris Erickson said he was at work when the bus hit the house where he lives with his wife and three young sons. He says they were "pretty shook up" but weren't seriously hurt.
