Peshawar:
A car bomb aimed at Pakistani security forces killed 14 people and wounded 25 others today on the outskirts of the northwestern city of Peshawar, an official said.
The bomb targeted a security force convoy on the main road to Kohat, near the semi-autonomous tribal belt where the Taliban and Al Qaeda-linked groups have strongholds.
"Fourteen people have been martyred in the attack in Badaber and 25 others are injured," Javed Khan, a local administration official, told reporters.
