Berlin: Germany's capital Berlin was hit by a spate of car fires in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police reports, four parked cars were set on fire at different locations in the city, and a further two were damaged.
Local TV stations showed firefighters approaching a Mercedes Benz in Berlin Mitte and extinguishing the fire.
There were no reports of injuries and police investigations are ongoing.
Arson attacks on cars have been occurring for some years now, mainly in Berlin and Hamburg.
There is a suspicion that some may be linked to hard-left activists, with others classified as vandalism.
