China accuses India of spying
Beijing: There seems to be growing tension between India and China. Beijing on Sunday took exception to the detention of United Arab Emirates air force aircraft at Kolkata airport earlier this week.

It called the incident an attempt by Indian officials "to spy on Chinese military secrets" and said India violated diplomatic rights because the cargo onboard belonged to China.

The detained arms-laden cargo plane of UAE's Air Force was recently allowed to take off for China's Xianyang city after being grounded in Kolkata for four days.

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal has said that the Union government should give the state a special package because it shares a border with China.

"This proximity could be dangerous in future," he said.

However, the ITBP has denied media reports that the Chinese army has made any incursion into the Uttarakhand border but said security forces were on high alert.
