Hubei Province: More than 20 vehicles were involved in a huge pile-up on a major motorway in southern China on Saturday.
At least eight people were killed and 23 others injured, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
The accident happened on Jingzhu Highway in Hubei Province early in the morning, during thick fog.
CCTV broadcast video showing the carnage, and oranges covering the road after they spilled from a truck involved in the accident.
After five hours' clean up, traffic resumed, CCTV said.
