EU welcomed the COP26 deal hammered out in Glasgow.

The European Commission on Saturday welcomed the COP26 deal hammered out in Glasgow, which it said meant the terms of the 2015 Paris climate agreement could still be met.
"COP26 resulted in the completion of the Paris Agreement rulebook and kept the Paris targets alive," said a statement.
