Copenhagen summit: Scramble to finalise draft
Copenhagen: It's the endgame in the United Nations climate summit at Copenhagen, the last chance to save the earth as the Heads of State of 120 countries meet on the last day. As world leaders scramble to seal a political draft, NDTV has been able to get some exclusive inputs:

As of now, there is still no quantification of emission cuts.

The draft reportedly says developed countries should peak as soon as possible but no immediate peaking year is mentioned for developing countries.

There's talk of a global climate fund of about USD 100 billion but its still not clear where this money will come from.

Some sticking points yet to be resolved are that the developed nations are not agreeing to more than 30 per cent cuts by 2020, but emerging economies and certain developing nations insist the rich nations should agree to 45 per cent cuts.

On the positive side, the issue of a 2 degree rise in temp is almost settled.
