Democrats Planted Protester At Rally, Alleges Donald Trump Campaign

The US Secret Service rushed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump off the stage at a rally.

Washington: The protester at an election rally in Nevada that forced Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to be whisked off stage briefly by the Secret Service was planted by the rival Democratic party, Trump's campaign alleged today.

"This is a Democratic plant or operative trying to disrupt our rally. I think that people saw a nimble, resilient Donald Trump, who would be nimble and resilient as president as well, take back to the stage, telling people, we're not going to be stopped. Nobody can interrupt this movement," Kellyann Conway, Trump's campaign manager told CNN.

The protester, she alleged, had canvassed for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and had donated to her campaign.

Secret Service removed Trump from the stage as he noticed a protester rushing towards the podium following a gun scare.

They later said that there was no gun found.

"I'm glad nobody was hurt. But it does remind you that, in these closing days, especially as the polls tighten, many of us are getting more death threats, getting more angry messages on social media and elsewhere. It is a pretty fraught environment there. I think that's the real focus here," she said predicting huge turn-out of people on Tuesday.

"I do predict that you're going to see really long lines, serpentine-like lines on Tuesday, of folks there for Donald Trump. You're going to see record turnout in many of these places. But, look, it's concerning when you hear reports about special favours and perhaps special rules for Democratic voters. We already know that their presidential nominee has special rules for her," she said.
