Dhaka Court Asks For Probe Report On Cafe Attack By August 24
The Gulshan police filed a case on the terror attack under the Anti-Terrorism Act, naming six terrorists and several unidentified others on Monday midnight.
Dhaka: A Dhaka court on Wednesday directed the police to submit by August 24 its investigation report into the Gulshan cafe terror attack, in which 22 people, including two police officers, were killed, according to media reports.

Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Rani Chakrabarty gave the order, reports bdnews24.com.

The Gulshan police filed a case on the terror attack under the Anti-Terrorism Act, naming six terrorists and several unidentified others on Monday midnight.

According to police, five of the six terrorists, identified so far and killed in the operation by army commandos to rescue the hostages after a 12-hour-long stand-off, were among the six named.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday confirmed that five of the six persons killed in the commando blitz were militants. However, he did not disclose the names.
