In another controversial remark, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump today said that even a murder would not drive his supporters away from his surging campaign.
Exuding confidence over the supporters, 69-year-old Mr Trump said, "Even the really dishonest press says Trump's people are the most incredible."
"Sixty-eight percent would not leave under any circumstance. I think that means murder. I think it means anything," Mr Trump told his enthusiastic supporters in Sparks, Nevada.
In his speech, the New Yorker was referencing a December national poll in which nearly 70 per cent of his supporters said they would still vote for him if he ran as an independent.

Last month, Mr Trump had claimed that his supporters would go to any extent and would not leave him. He said his supporters were so loyal he "could stand in the Middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters".
A day earlier, the real estate tycoon had said he wanted to "punch" a protester in the face after a heckler was ejected from a campaign event in Las Vegas.
