London: British authorities say dozens of people have been injured in a huge crash involving 26 vehicles on a highway in southwest England.
A fire department official from Devon and Somerset told the BBC that up to 30 people have been reported injured, some seriously.
Paul Slaven also said the pile-up Friday evening on the M5 highway involved 20 cars and six trucks. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident.
The busy highway has been closed in both directions as fire and emergency services work at the scene.
