An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 was reported near Athens, Greece on Friday evening, according to India's National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 258 km east (E) of Athens, Greece, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 5:21 PM IST at a depth of 52 km from the surface.
