An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 was reported near Santiago, Chile on Tuesday morning, according to India's National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 257 km northeast (NE) of Santiago, Chile, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 8:16 AM IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
