A man on a flight in Europe punched a stewardess because he had to wait for a sandwich, according to media reports.
The plane was headed from Geneva in Switzerland to Pristina, the capital of Kosova; the flight was "diverted to Rome as a result of a passenger on-board behaving in a disruptive manner," the airline said. The passenger was arrested as soon as the plane landed.
The man allegedly punched the female flight attendant and knocked her to the floor, reported The Independent.
"I was totally shocked. I can't understand how anyone could react so violently over a sandwich," the stewardess was quoted as saying to a Swiss website.
