London: The flight chaos may be about to get better as the Airspace above Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England will open up on Tuesday morning and there's hope that the rest of the UK may also clear up by the evening.

But stranded Indian passengers still don't know when they'll be able to return as the backlog means thousands have to be accommodated.

Dr Kabilan is getting married in Nagapattinum in ten days. Even though there is hope now that Britain's airspace may open up soon, he may not get a ticket to go back home in time as airlines say accommodating the backlog of passengers will take weeks.

"I am getting married but I don't know whether I'll be there for my own marriage," said Dr Kabilan.

This group of Indian doctors who were supposed to return on the 15 April, have been stuck in the UK since this crisis started. With cash running out, they are here at the Indian High Commission in the hope they could get a transit visa to a country whose airports are open.

"Don't know how we'll reach Finland but I don't get stressed too much. It's an adventure!" said another.
