Scores of people have been evacuated from Camden Market, one of London's busiest tourist areas, after a fire broke out, sending black smoke billowing skyward.
London Fire Brigade said it sent six engines and 35 firefighters to the blaze, which started just before 8 p.m. (19:00 GMT) on Monday.
Police evacuated the Stables Market, a covered area crammed with shops and food stands.
The fire brigade said several railway arches used as shops were alight. It reported no injuries.
The area, famous for its bars, music clubs and street market, was hit by a fire in February 2008 that leveled clothes and craft stalls and damaged a pub frequented over the years by celebrities, including the late Amy Winehouse.
