Flights Resume at Rome Airport After Fire: Alitalia Airlines

Rome: Flights resumed today at Rome's Fiumicino airport after smoke from a fire in a nearby pine grove temporarily grounded planes.

"Operations resumed at Fiumicino", Italian airline giant Alitalia said on Twitter, as firefighters gained control of the blaze, which had seen clouds of dense smoke spread across the runways.
