Washington:
The US state of Florida executed a convicted murderer Thursday who had been on death row 30 years for killing four people, including his five-year-old daughter, in 1985.
Jerry Correll, 59, died by lethal injection at 7:36 pm (2336 GMT), according to McKinley Lewis, spokesman for the Florida Department of Corrections.
The US Supreme Court had rejected a request for a stay of execution.
Correll was sentenced for killing his daughter, his ex-wife, and her mother and sister.
The execution is the 25th in the United States this year, according to the Death Penalty Information Center.
