Gilani: We are not under any threat. We are not against any institution. The court has called me and I will go to the court on the 19th (January).
Gilani on opposition: Difference of opinion can be there, it's a democracy. But both have to be democratic. They can't derail democracy.
Gilani: We have not come here to protect ourselves. We have come here as responsible members. We restored the constitution.
Gilani: I made sacrifices for judges and judiciary. They can't accuse me of dishonesty.

Pro democracy resolution was passed by National assembly in Pakistan. The Muslim League (PML-N) had walked out of assembly. Pakistan PM Gilani had sought vote on supremacy of Parliament.
Gilani: I would like to congratulate on this resolution being passed. You can't call this assembly a rubber stamp.
Gilani: These parliamentarians are elected lot. They have been given mandate by people. We can't disrespect the people's mandate.
Gilani: Parliament is supreme for this government.
