Google Celebrates Labour Day

New Delhi: Google is celebrating Labour Day today by posting an animated pictures of labour equipments.

It is usually an annual holiday to relish the accomplishment of workers.

Labour Day's foundation can be traced during labour union movement, especially the 8-hour-day movement, which emphasized 8 hours for work, 8 hours for rest and 8 hours for recreation.

Labour Day, however, is linked with International Worker's Day which falls on 1 May. Though, in many countries, it is celebrated on some other date, but in US and Canada, it is celebrated on the first Monday of September.
