Google to exit China by April end

New Delhi: US Internet giant Google will close its business in China next month and may announce its plans in the coming days.

An official said they might go with the withdrawal on April 10. Recently, Google had complained against cyber attacks in China aimed at its source code and the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists.

The issue has sparked a simmering war of words between China and the US. President Obama had also asked Beijing to allow an unfettered Internet.
