Athens: New Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Sunday promised to implement his election pledge to raise the minimum wage from 580 euros ($657) to 750 euros by 2016.
The move was just one of a string of measures the premier said would tackle the "humanitarian crisis" caused by the austerity policies imposed on Greece by its creditors.
