Paris: A video has now emerged that shows how the firing actually began at Bataclan concert hall - the site of the biggest carnage in Paris on Friday. Eighty-nine people have died in the attack at the 1,500 seater concert hall as terrorists opened fire with Kalashnikovs.
That evening, the American rock band Eagles of Death Metal was performing there when the firing started.
An eyewitness said as the people started fleeing, they were forced back into the building by the terrorists and made to watch as they systematically fired into the screaming hysterical crowd.
After a few more minutes, there was a huge explosion, when the attackers detonated the suicide vests.
The video captures the first few seconds of the attack when the first shots rang out, creating a staccato beat amid the music.
The French police have zeroed on one of the attackers - Omar Ismail Mostefai -- and six people including members of his family, have been detained. Mostafei, 29, a resident of Paris, blew himself up after the attack.
