Hackers target Murdoch's Sun, Times websites
London: Internet hackers claim to have tampered with the websites of Rupert Murdoch's Sun and Times newspapers.

Visitors to The Sun's website late on Monday were redirected to a page featuring a story saying Murdoch's dead body had been found in his garden.

Lulz Security took responsibility via Twitter, calling it a successful part of "Murdoch Meltdown Monday." It said "we have joy, we have fun, we have messed up Murdoch's Sun."

Another hacking collectively known as Anonymous claimed a cyber attack that shut down The Times' website. Murdoch is due to appear before a Parliamentary committee today to answer lawmakers' questions over phone-hacking at News International, his British newspaper division.

Lulz also took credit for shutting down News International's website.
