ZURICH: A helicopter crashed on Tuesday in the area around Lauterbrunnen, a popular Swiss tourist destination near the Jungfraujoch glacier, police said.
"Emergency services are on the scene, rescue operations are currently under way," police for the Swiss canton of Bern said in an emailed statement. "Further information to follow as soon as possible."
The police did not comment on possible fatalities or injuries.
