Miami:
Hurricane Dalila is drifting southwestward in the Pacific away from Mexico's coast.
Dalila's maximum sustained winds early Wednesday are near 75 mph (120 kph). The hurricane is expected to begin slowly weakening Thursday.
Dalila is centered about 220 miles (350 kilometers) west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving southwest near 2 mph (4 kph).
The US National Hurricane Center in Miami says swells generated by Dalila are affecting parts of Mexico's southwestern coast and could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
