Kuala Lumpur: A 28-year-old Indian was today charged by a court in Kuala Lumpur for allegedly raping and sodomising an Indonesian woman in Malaysia.
Mohamad Aslam Abdul Hameed, who works as a wireman, was charged in a Sessions Court with three counts of raping and sodomising the woman, the Malaysian Star reported.
During the trial, Hameed admitted to raping the woman and causing hurt to her but pleaded not guilty to second and third charge of sodomising her.
The offences were allegedly committed at a hotel room in Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur on December 3.
