Kuala Lumpur:
The body of Indian national Michael Cornelius Selvam Vellu, who was killed in a car accident alongside his employer Karpal Singh, will be flown to India today for funeral after special prayers in Kuala Lumpur.
Michael, 39, and Karpal Singh, 74, were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry near near Gua Tempurung, Perak on Thursday.
Michael, who came from Vellore in Tamil Nadu was Mr Singh's personal assistant. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
Michael started working for Mr Singh back in 2005 after the veteran opposition DAP leader and lawyer sustained injuries in an accident in front of his Penang house that left him paralysed and bound to a wheelchair.
