An Indian-origin man has been arrested in New Zealand for allegedly assaulting two teenaged girls, media reported on Monday.
Dhaval Kadam has been charged for two separate incidents against two girls while travelling on intercity buses in Auckland, stuff.co.nz reported.
Police said the first incident occurred Aug 28 when Kadam allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old girl, who was travelling from central Auckland to Paihia area.
The second incident took place the following day when he allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old girl, who was on a journey from Kerikeri to Whangarei.
Kadam has been freed on bail to reappear before the North Shore District Court Dec 4.
