Singapore:
An Indian construction worker died after being run over by a truck in Singapore on Saturday. Police said the incident occurred at the Tampines Industrial Avenue 2 at around 3 pm, the Straits Times reported on Sunday.
The 33-year-old driver, who is also an Indian national, was arrested for causing death by a negligent act.
The victim was found trapped under the front wheel of the truck when rescuers arrived on the scene.
He was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after his body was extricated from under the wheel.
