Israeli PM reaches out to Arab world via YouTube

Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reached out to the Arab world via the Internet, asking Web surfers to pose him video questions via YouTube.

Tuesday's outreach comes after a successful global YouTube session in March in which Netanyahu first responded to questions from Arabs around the world.

In a video message, with Arabic subtitles, Netanyahu says he is "especially" looking forward to fielding questions from Arabs. He says he'd "like to hear what you have to say and I'd like you to hear what I have to say in response."

Netanyahu's office says the plea is an attempt to broaden the direct dialogue with the Arab world.

Like other politicians around the world, Netanyahu actively uses Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to communicate with the public.
