Jerusalem:
An Israeli was stabbed in the West Bank south of Jerusalem Sunday and the Palestinian attacker was shot dead afterwards, Israeli police said, with the female victim reported in critical condition.
Israeli media reports said the woman was around 20 years old, but there was no official confirmation of this. The attack near the Gush Etzion block of settlements was the third stabbing assault of the day.
Earlier, two Palestinians, including a teen, attacked Israelis with knives and a car in the occupied West Bank and were killed when civilians and security forces intervened.
Sunday's attacks were the latest in a nearly two-month wave of violence.
Violence since October 1 has left 89 people dead on the Palestinian side, including one Arab Israeli, as well as 15 Israelis, an American and an Eritrean.
Many of the Palestinians killed have been alleged attackers.
