Rome: Italian authorities on Wednesday announced the arrest of mafia "baby boss" Pasquale Sibillo, a 24-year-old suspected of orchestrating revenge killings following the death of his brother in Naples in July.
"Thank you to the police and investigators for the arrest of Lino Sibillo," Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said in a tweet. "Italy is not a country of impunity #pride."
Seen as the head of a cartel of criminal families in the Neapolitan mafia, the Camorra, Sibillo had been wanted since June for murder, attempted murder and mafia involvement.
Following the assassination of his brother Emanuele on July 2, Sibillo is suspected of organising a retaliatory attack in which two men were killed and a third injured on July 31.
